The family tree

The person in the middle is the one you are looking at. Parents and grandparents are above, children below, brothers and sisters to the left, and the husband or wife just beneath. Click any box to move the chart onto that person; the small arrow opens their page, with their records and the grade of the evidence. ▲ means their parents are known, ▼ that they have children. Anyone who may still be living is left out of the tree altogether.
