13 July 1640: Pauwels, son of Catheline de Wulf, daughter of Pauwels, who is said to have conceived him by Christiaen Befort (a marginal mark notes the birth out of wedlock). Godfather Jacques Befort; godmother Merghline de Clercq[?].
