Translation

18 December 1627 (page headed 1627; the facing page begins in February 1628): Joannes, son of Simon Tanghe and Anna de Wulf, a married couple. Godfather Joannes de Wulf; godmother Petronella Tirans. The same register has a daughter Anna of the same parents on 21 August 1627; two children of one mother four months apart are impossible, so one of the two entries is wrong, and the register does not say which.
