Translation

Burial at Handzame of Petrus Dewulf, husband of Maria Anna Devolder, on 6 March 1736 (page 1029 of the register), and of Maria Dewulf, wife of Ivo Vandieffus (the Duyfhuys family of the Handzame baptisms), on 23 November 1737 (page 1033). Petrus is Pieter, the son of Loonis, who married Marie-Anne Devoldere at Kortemark in 1732. The Handzame registers from before 1752 are lost (AGATHA notes that the church was shelled and looted in 1917); this table, made from them in the 19th century, is what survives (grade B).
