Translation

Eernegem, act of 4 July 1642. Joosken (3 1/2), son of Joos De Wulf, son of Louys, from his first marriage with Elisabeth Van Houtte (died 2 February 1642 at Eernegem). Guardians: Jan Baete, living at Handzame, married to a paternal aunt of the orphan, and Heyndryc Van Houtte of Hooglede, maternal uncle. Act of 30 January 1660: he inherits from his father, husband of Mechelynken Schoenacker, who died at Eernegem on 2 January 1659. So the Judocus Dewulf of Eernegem (children 1642-1658) was a son of a Louys De Wulf, brother of the Joanna Dewulf who married Jan Baten at Zarren in 1637 - and, having died in 1659, cannot be our Joos, who married in 1665 and 1667 (grade B).
