7a Baptizatus est Egidius filius Joannis de Schacht et Maria van Dierdonck conjugum, tenentibus Egidio Vermeulen et Anna Clemens[?], natus heri. A me f. f. Vandale augustiniano. [margin:] Egidius.

Translation

On the 7th [April 1705] was baptised Egidius, son of Joannes de Schacht and Maria van Dierdonck, a married couple; the godparents were Egidius Vermeulen and Anna Clemens[?]; born yesterday. By me, Brother F. Vandale, Augustinian. Gillis is the elder brother of Joannes Baptista (baptised here in 1707); the Brugse Vrije orphan register of 1761 calls him 'son of Joseph & Van Dierendonck Marie', a slip for Joannes (grade A).
